L-arginine is an amino acid with many important health benefits, but is best known for its key role in the production of nitric oxide, a potent factor in relaxing blood vessels and promoting blood flow. This particular form also includes magnesium, l-glycine, thiamine, and folate.  This combination helps the body to metabolize carbohydrates, fats and proteins. It also helps to prevent thiamine deficiency, maintain proper muscle function and to form red blood cells.

By increasing the effect of nitric oxide, Arginine has the ability to block plaque and blood clot formation and reduce the stickiness of the blood.
